Louisiana Comprehensive Curriculum

Each school district is required to implement a curriculum based upon the Louisiana Grade-Level Expectations (GLEs). Each school district had a choice whether to adopt the state’s Comprehensive Curriculum or develop its own. The state’s Comprehensive Curriculum is aligned with state content standards, as defined by the GLEs, and organized into logical, timebound units with sample activities and classroom assessments to guide teaching and learning.
