To see the where the highest performing schools are in your community, please select your parish from the list below. You will see a list of schools, their locations, and their rankings based on their 2011 School Performance Scores.
Beginning in fall 2011, letter grades replaced the star rating system. Letter Grades are assigned to each school based on their School Performance Scores (SPS). The highest performing schools can receive up to an A+, while schools with SPS below 65 are labeled Academically Unacceptable.
For a look at the SPS ranges assigned to each letter grade, please see the table below.

Schools may also receive a plus (+) or minus (-) sign that indicates growth and is determined by comparing a school's prior year Baseline School Performance Score to its current Growth Performance Score.
