After-School Programming
The School Support Section oversees the administration of four after-school programs:

[] 21st Century Community Learning Centers
[] TANF After-School for All
[] Supplemental Educational Services.

The School Support Section is manned by a group of dedicated education professionals who are committed to excellence in after-school programming. School Support staff (1) provides technical support and assistance to providers; (2) conducts on-site and desk monitoring reviews; (3) administers the processes used to select the most qualified providers; (4) ensures policies and procedures are in compliance with all applicable federal and/or state regulations; (5) establishes relevant and measurable performance goals for providers; (6) researches and keeps abreast of national trends in after-school programming; and (7) implements policies and procedures that ensure Louisiana's limited after-school resources are utilized effectively and efficiently.
