Safe and Drug Free Schools and Communities Program (SDFSC)

SDFS Logo The Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities Program provides support to Louisiana’s schools to maintain a safe, disciplined and drug-free learning environment. Title IV SDFSC provides federal funding to Louisiana school systems. These funds are utilized to support programs that prevent violence in and around schools, prevent the illegal use of alcohol, tobacco and drugs, and are coordinated with other efforts in order to support student academic achievement.
