Safe and Drug Free Schools and Communities Program (SDFSC)

The Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities Program provides support to Louisiana's schools to maintain a safe, disciplined, and drug-free learning evnironment. Title IV SDFSC provides federal funding to Louisiana school systems to support programs that prevent violence in and around schools; prevent illegal use of alcohol, tobacco and drugs; and are coordinated with other efforts in order to support academic achievement.
