Safe and Healthy Schools
The Safe and Healthy Schools Section administers programs and initiatives that address the health, safety, and well-being of Louisiana's students. Focus ranges from School Bus Transportation to School Nursing. The section is manned by a staff of professionals whose backgrounds include nutrition, kinesiology, physical education, and public health. Programs and inititives within the section include:
