New Online System - EAGLE! (8.24.07)

The Louisiana Department of Education has launched a new online system called EAGLE (Enhanced Assessment of Grade-Level Expectations) which is now available to teachers, students, and administrators. This system is designed to help teachers and students identify learning strengths and weaknesses, modify instruction, access targeted classroom resources, and refine learning strategies based on student assessment and performance.

Using EAGLE, teachers can assign pre-made tests or create their own tests using test items that have been written specifically to the Louisiana GLEs. Presently, EAGLE includes grade 4 English Language Arts/math and grade 9 Algebra. In the upcoming year, we will be adding grades 8, 10, 11/12 to math and grades 8, 9, 10, 11/12 to English Language Arts. Schools needing more information on EAGLE should contact their District Test Coordinator or District Curriculum Supervisor.
