Standards, Assessments, and Accountability

The Louisiana Department of Education provides these model lessons for arts education to each school district in Louisiana. The lessons are aligned with the Louisiana Arts Content Standards, Foundation Skills, and attendant benchmarks. The lessons provide guidance to local curriculum developers as they use lessons in the local schools and create additional lessons based upon them to address local community interests and learner needs.
