Recess

Question: Which is better, to schedule recess before or after lunch?

Answer: Scheduling recess before lunch seems to work best. Students behave better on the playground, in the cafeteria, and in the classroom. Students waste less food and drink more milk, leading to greater nutrient intake. Children who eat most of their lunch are less likely to snack on foods that are high in calories and low in nutrients.
