Credit Recovery
The purpose of the Credit Recovery Grant Program is to provide financial support for districts to establish rigorous, effective remediation and credit recovery programs that will support the on-time promotion of students to the 9th and 10th grades; keep students on track for graduation; and reduce the number of dropouts. The district credit recovery programs serve both to prevent students from failing courses and to help students recover credit after they have failed a course.
School district personnel with questions about the Credit Recovery Grant Program may contact Dr. Susannah F. Craig, Section Supervisor in the Division of Curriculum Standards at 225-342-1152 or the LDE's toll-free number.
