GUIDANCE and COUNSELING OVERVIEW
Comprehensive Guidance and Counseling is a systematic and sequential method of preparing students for post-secondary experiences, with career preparation as a focus. The comprehensive program is designed to address students’ academic planning, career development and personal/social needs. This is not an add-on program for counselors, teachers or administrators, but a combined, systematic effort of those who deem education as a source of future preparation. A comprehensive program requires complete commitment and cooperation of all school personnel.
