9/15/08 (5:00 p.m.): Department Updates List of School Closings and Re-Openings due to Hurricanes Gustav and Ike

Baton Rouge, Louisiana – Today Louisiana Department of Education officials published two reports indicating the opening status of local school districts for Tuesday, September 16.  The first report is an update strictly relating to school districts that announced closures last week due to Hurricane Ike.  The comprehensive list is an update on the status of all school districts across the state.  In some cases, districts have announced partial closures and tentative opening dates.  These types of details are included in footnotes on each report.
