School Improvement Fund
The Louisiana Legislature provides an annual allocation in the State General Fund Budget for all schools in School Improvement under the Louisiana School, District, and State Accountability System. This funding provides financial incentives for schools that need to substantially improve student achievement by helping schools implement programs based on reliable research and effective practices, and includes emphasis on basic academics, educator quality and parental involvement.
