Due to the hurricanes of 2005, the Louisiana State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education voted to delay the 2005-2006 Social Studies textbook adoption (and subsequent adoptions) by one year.

The list below contains information regarding the approved materials for K-12 Reading and Literature. Final approval of the state committees' recommendations was received on SBESE's October 18, 2007 meeting. Contracts are effective beginning July 1, 2008.

The 2008 Reading and Literature Textbook Catalog will be available online at School Book Supply Company's website in early 2008.
