Overview

The Degree of Implementation Guide (DIG) helps schools monitor the implemention of their School Improvement Plan (SIP).

DIG is designed to help schools answer the questions:
  • Were the planned activities completed?
  • How well were they completed?
DIG contains data collection instruments as well as a protocol for quarterly and end-of-year evaluations. Quarterly visits occur in October, January, March and May.

Schools can use DIG results to:
  • Report progress to stakeholders, the school district and the Louisiana Department of Education
  • Improve implementation of SIP strategies and/or
  • Revise SIP strategies and/or activities
