Three schools are now in School Improvement 6. They must choose one of the following remedies:
- Reopen as a "public charter."
- Replace all or most of school staff (may include principal).
- Enter into a contract with an entity having a demonstrated record of effectiveness to operate the public school.
- Begin any other major restructuring of a school's governance arrangements that makes fundamental reform.
