Perkins awards ending June 30, 2006 - DEADLINE JULY 7, 2006
FINAL CLAIM SUBMITTAL DEADLINE for awards ending June 30, 2006 is JULY 7, 2006. Claims for reimbursement must be received IN THE DIVISION OF APPROPRIATION CONTROL by the above deadline in order to be reimbursed from FY 2005-2006 funds. In compliance with state law, the Louisiana Department of Education (LDE) must issue the payment and draw sufficient revenue from the Louisiana Community and Technical College System (LCTCS) to cover your request; therefore, WE WILL BE UNABLE TO PROVIDE EXCEPTIONS TO THE ABOVE DEADLINE. All requests for funds should include goods and services RECEIVED by June 30, 2006.
Claims for reimbursement with supporting documentation that DO NOT EXCEED 15 PAGES may be faxed to the following numbers. DO NOT MAIL CLAIMS THAT HAVE BEEN FAXED.

It is imperative you review outstanding receivables for those claims previously submitted to the LDE. If requests have been submitted for a period in excess of 30 days and payment has not been received, please contact Expenditure Control at (225) 342-3780 immediately to determine the current status of your payment. This procedure will confirm that all claims you have submitted have actually been received and will ensure that payment is issued within the proper period.
