Preparation for the Online Application Essay
As part of the online application process, you will be required to submit an essay. The scoring committee’s recommendation will be based on your ability to: a) express ideas clearly, b) provide evidence of the National Board Certification Five Core Propositions in their teaching practice, and c) analyze classroom practice in connection to the Louisiana Six Components of Professional Development.
The online application will open on April 7, 2008. It will remain open until May 7, 2008. During this time, you will have access to the application itself, the essay topic, and the essay scoring rubric.
