Louisiana Accounting and Uniform Governmental Handbook (LAUGH)

The primary purpose of the Louisiana Accounting and Uniform Governmental Handbook (LAUGH) is to serve local school boards as a vehicle for program cost accounting at the local and state levels.

The Louisiana Accounting and Uniform Governmental Handbook (LAUGH) attempts to produce comprehensive and compatible sets of standardized terminology for use in education management and reporting.

The State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education adopted minimum qualifications for Lead Business Officials. This March 2007 amendment is reflected in the lastest version of the Louisiana Accounting and Uniform Governmental Handbook (LAUGH).
