As a recipient of federal financial assistance from the U.S. Department of Education, this agency is subject to the provisions of Title IX, which prohibits discrimination based on sex.
Superintendent Picard has designated Patrick Weaver, Deputy Undersecretary, Executive Office of the Superintendent, 5th Floor (Room 5-233), to serve as the Title IX Coordinator for the Department of Education. It is Mr. Weaver's duty to coordinate the Department's effort to comply with and carry out its responsibilities under Title IX.
