Grant Award Program (GAP)

GAP was developed by the Louisiana Department of Education in an effort to streamline the process by which sub-recipients of grant funding receive approved Grant Award Notifications (GANs) and to allow ready access to important information pertaining to these awards.

Through GAP, users may view allocations to school districts and other eligible recipients, view approved GANs, and review and print expenditure reports. The expenditure reports include information relative to the status of the application approval, expenditure amounts, and grant balances. These data may be retrieved from the system based on the grant where data for all grant recipients will be displayed or based on the recipient where all grants allocated to a recipient will be displayed.
